I arrived at 9:32 AM and was the 5th in line. Even while waiting outside, I could smell the spices. By the time they started distributing tickets, there were about 25 people in line. I thought I could relax because of the rain, but it was a good decision to come early. By 10:40 AM, they were already SOLD OUT.I chose spice level 1, which was just the right amount of heat. Each pot is prepared with great care. The clay pot stayed hot for a long time, and the chicken was tender and falling apart, while the thigh meat had a delightful texture, complemented by the melt-in-your-mouth onions. The pickled onions were delicious, but the marinated tomatoes had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity that made me wish I could have seconds. Unfortunately, due to the rising prices of tomatoes, refills weren't possible.At the end, I sprinkled some sansho spice on my egg rice. The aroma was wonderful, and the tingling sensation was just right. I might have added too much, as it seemed like there was some salt mixed in, which made me think I overdid it! After that, when I drank some water, it was incredibly refreshing! The spices and salt lingered in my mouth, making the water taste like spices! I ended up drinking two cups!I would love to visit again. I noticed some others ordered spice levels 0 or 0.5. It was a great meal! ❤︎
