I visited Tomato, a renowned curry restaurant often hailed as Japan's number one. On a Sunday in August, I arrived three hours before opening to ensure I wouldn't miss out. I was the first customer, and soon after, more guests started to arrive. They began seating us a bit early around 11:10 AM. The atmosphere was calm, reminiscent of a traditional coffee shop. It seemed to be run by a couple, with a refined lady attending to us.I ordered the Wagyu Java Curry, extra spicy. It was served in about ten minutes, and it looked beautiful. The rich, European-style curry was thick, accompanied by rice topped with cheese and raisins. The pickled vegetables and onions added a stylish touch. I took a bite of the curry, and it was incredibly delicious... pure bliss. Then I tried the beef, which was tender and flavorful! The rice was irresistible. The curry was not overly spicy but had a deep richness that was impressive! Thank you for this happiness!I apologize for mentioning other restaurants, but my top three curry spots are definitely Tomato, Ittai-kan, and Kirakutei!
