This is my 230th bowl of the year!I wanted to make a reservation since it's close to Izu Nagaoka Onsen, but unfortunately, I forgot and missed out. However, one of the part-timers had made a reservation for this day! (; ・`д・´) What a surprise! (。・о・。)Since I've been here multiple times, they kindly let me take their spot (Godsend ω Godsend). So, I made my first visit to Iida Shoten.I chose the salt Tsukemen and the meat rice!Upon entering, the owner of Iida greeted each of us individually! That’s impressive.Iida Shoten is a place that Fujisaki-san respects! There were definitely similarities to what I learned from the owner of Iida. The Tsukemen came with chashu and sesame tofu, and they explained everything when serving. The chashu was from Kuro-ō (。・о・。).In addition to the salt broth, there was another bowl with a soy sauce broth? It had a scent reminiscent of soba dipping sauce, with hints of katsuobushi (dried bonito). I couldn’t hear the explanation well at that moment, but it felt like a small amount of dipping sauce, so I tried it and it was delicious in its own right ( ゚д゚)ンマッ!The salt broth was quite mild.Personally, I found the umami a bit weak, and even when I dipped the noodles generously into the broth, it didn’t quite satisfy my taste. While the flavor was good, I personally preferred the salt Tsukemen that Fujisaki-san used to serve (*´﹃`*).However, towards the end of the meal, they provided a kombu water with katsuobushi and rare meat for flavor enhancement. They explained to use the kombu water with the noodles and add the meat to the broth! They also suggested to eat the meat and noodles together!Doing this allowed the pork's umami to infuse into the broth, enhancing the flavor! The combination with the katsuobushi kombu water really elevated the taste (。・о・。).What I thought might be lacking at the start was actually compensated by this (*꒪꒫꒪)オォ delicious ( ゜д゜)ンマッ!As expected from Iida Shoten. And then, the meat rice! This was incredibly delicious!Fujisaki-san has a similar meat rice that I love and eat every time, but honestly, this was on another level—the meat was unbelievably tasty (*´﹃`*).I never expected rare pork to be this delicious (。・о・。).I felt it shouldn’t just be categorized as chashu, so I referred to it as meat.Personally, the sesame tofu was super delicious (*´﹃`*)( ゜д゜)ンマッ!It was so good that I wished I had more than just one bite. This was more than just ramen; it felt like a complete course (。・о・。).If I have the chance again, I’d love to try the salt and soy sauce ramen in succession next time.It seems like they do a full turnover when entering? The place quickly filled up, and most people were having multiple dishes (。・о・。).I considered having multiple dishes as well, but I wanted to enjoy the meat rice this time, so I decided against it.I was very satisfied ( ¯﹀¯ ).It was a great meal! m(*_ _)m
