I was taken here by my in-laws. Since it was during Golden Week, it was extremely crowded, and we waited for 2 hours. There’s no calling system, so we just had to wait in front of the restaurant until our turn. If I had known it would be a 2-hour wait from the start, I would have gone to Lake Yamagata or a roadside station instead. However, the wait was worth it because the wild vegetable soba was delicious! The hot pot filled with wild vegetables was impressive and surprising. I enjoyed dipping the soba in it. It was truly delicious! The tempura was crispy as well. I also enjoyed the sobakaki (soba dumplings). I was completely full! Next time, I’ll aim for a day when it’s a bit less crowded.
