I finally visited the highly sought-after restaurant "Tokyo En," tucked away in a deep alley in Higashi-Ginza. The cozy interior, managed solely by the owner, exudes a nostalgic warmth reminiscent of the Showa era. The signature "Salted Tongue" is a must-try, featuring a punchy salt sauce infused with garlic and sesame oil, paired with thick, succulent slices that offer an irresistible texture. The Omasum sashimi is incredibly fresh, with no unpleasant odor, and the balance of texture and sauce is simply perfect. Then there's the famous "Loin." Thinly sliced and marinated in a special sweet and spicy sauce, it truly lives up to its nickname of "drinkable loin!" The moment it touches your tongue, it melts away, releasing a burst of flavor. The experience of pairing this marinated meat with glossy white rice is pure bliss. The lively atmosphere filled with swirling smoke adds to the unique charm of this place. It was the best town Yakiniku that satisfied both my stomach and heart. I definitely want to come back!
