I visited the reservation-only restaurant "Torisho Ishii Hina." This popular yakitori spot is located in Minami Azabu as a branch of the renowned "Torisho Ishii" in Osaka.This time, I enjoyed the omakase course priced at JPY 15,000.In a calm atmosphere at the counter seats, I was able to savor yakitori that was carefully grilled right in front of me.Each juicy skewer bursts with the rich flavor of chicken with every bite. The texture and fat content vary by part, allowing for a unique taste experience with each skewer.Not only the yakitori, but also the side dishes and vegetables like shiitake mushrooms were delicious, making for a well-balanced course overall. For those who want more, additional yakitori can be ordered, so I added some Chōchin skewers.Especially noteworthy was the finishing dish, the oyakodon, which combined fluffy, creamy eggs with the savory flavor of chicken—simply exquisite. I also enjoyed the tororo rice with chicken broth as a second finishing dish! I relished every bite, even the dessert at the end.The simplicity of the yakitori highlights the quality of the ingredients and the exquisite grilling technique, making each skewer stand out.Their bento box, featuring chicken soboro rice, is exceptional as a souvenir. I was able to enjoy it since I had requested it when making the reservation.This reservation-only restaurant truly lives up to its reputation for deliciousness, and I was completely satisfied from start to finish.
