This season, we organized an adult excursion to Yanagiya, where the main theme is sweetfish. We gathered at Mizunami Station at 11 AM, and by that time, the temperature had already exceeded 30 degrees, making it feel like full summer. Surrounded by the irori (traditional Japanese hearth), the charcoal grilling created a sauna-like atmosphere, and we were thoroughly smoked. In addition to enjoying an abundance of sweetfish, we also savored the delicious grilled pheasant.
