I finally visited Cerca Trova, a place I had wanted to go for a long time, making my way all the way to Nobeoka City in Miyazaki Prefecture.Selected as a SILVER winner in the 2026 Tabelog Awards.Although the restaurant doesn’t have its own parking, there is a nearby parking lot near Nobeoka Station that charges JPY 50 for an hour, which I used.The course took about 3 hours.As I walked along a dark path, the restaurant quietly appeared.After passing through a narrow alley and opening the door, I was greeted by an imaginative space that was completely unexpected based on the journey I had taken to get there. I had a good feeling even before tasting the food.The chef elevates the ingredients, focusing on high-quality local products, into exquisite dishes.The food conveyed a message that made me reflect on the journey of the ingredients—from the producers to the chefs, and finally to my plate.On this day, I enjoyed a 1-kilogram eel, sourced from Gifu.Photography of the dishes was not allowed, but the experience I had here will remain in my heart forever.I was able to spend a wonderful time.
