It had been a while since my last visit to Kyodai Zushi, and as always, the food was delicious, complemented by an incredibly comfortable atmosphere that made for a wonderful experience. This time, I enjoyed an impressive selection featuring local delicacies such as Sado's Arai fish, water octopus, and Niigata's Nanban shrimp. The standout was definitely the cherry salmon from Matsuhama, which showcased a refined yet robust flavor that was simply exquisite. Towards the end of the meal, I savored the rich and creamy white roe rice from Sado's fugu, as well as the rolled sushi filled with sweet crab, both of which left me in awe of the chef's skill and the bounties of the Niigata sea. Every sense was delightfully satisfied, making it a truly supreme dining experience. This is a place I would love to return to time and time again.
