If you love Yakiniku, you can't miss the renowned Yakiniku Seiryuuen. I've wanted to go for so long, but getting a reservation was nearly impossible...On the 15th of each month, I would call from the morning, tirelessly trying to get through. There were days I called over 1000 times without success. When I finally secured a reservation after six months, I genuinely thought it was a dream!And finally, the long-awaited visit.It happened to be during the week of the owner's birthday, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated with flowers, creating a special atmosphere from the moment I arrived.Since it's reservation-only, the restaurant wasn't too noisy, and the private room was very comfortable.At Seiryuuen, you can only order "salted dishes, premium cuts, yukhoe, and meat sashimi" on your first order, so I decided to order everything I was curious about at once!◯ Namul While waiting for the meat, we toasted with the namul!◯ Meat Sashimi It melts in your mouth the moment you take a bite... The sweetness and umami of the fat are incredible.◯ Salted Tongue This was the dish I was most looking forward to. We ordered two servings, and surprisingly, it was quite filling!Among all the salted tongues I've had, this was truly impressive. It had a nice bounce and just the right amount of fat. By the end, we were saying, "We could eat salted tongue forever."◯ Outside Skirt This is a hidden menu item that isn’t on the regular menu, but they will serve it if you ask. It was absolutely delicious.◯ Mountain Chain Tripe Perfect as a palate cleanser between the fatty dishes.◯ Salted Liver You can really tell it's fresh, with a melting texture.◯ Carlos I ordered this because I had never heard of it before. It’s said to be between kalbi and loin. The umami of the fat is amazing, and it melts in your mouth. However, it’s quite rich, so even one serving is very satisfying.◯ Yukhoe I ordered one for each of us since it had great reviews in my research. That was a good choice. When something is delicious, you want to keep it all to yourself.◯ Egg Soup There were several soups available, but when I asked the staff for a recommendation, they suggested the egg soup. It’s a gentle soup that you crave after eating Yakiniku. We shared one serving, and they kindly brought it out divided for us!The owner was very friendly, and I ended up chatting a lot.The happiness that comes after successfully securing a reservation is worth it. This is a Yakiniku restaurant where I truly felt, "I'm so glad I came."It’s also a nice touch that any leftovers can be taken home if you grill them properly.We each had two drinks, and the total was around JPY 18,000 per person. Just a heads up, they only accept cash!I recommend doing thorough research on what you want to eat before you go! ◎
