During my trip to Paris, I had the pleasure of visiting L'Arkest, and everything was delicious and memorable, which made me curious to visit this restaurant as well.I have a lot to say about each dish, but first, the temperature of each dish was outstanding. The proximity of the kitchen to the seating area is definitely a strong point. The variety of textures, from crispy to crunchy, was also enjoyable.Overall, everything was delicious, but among the fish dishes, the one featuring fluffy barracuda finished with mimolette cheese and black pepper was particularly striking. I felt it was a shame to see it disappear. The venison was also excellent. You can enjoy both rare and well-done preparations, and the fat had a delightful sweetness, enhanced by the charcoal grilling. The accompanying Manganji peppers were also a nice touch. One of the great things about French cuisine is the variety of desserts, which keeps things from feeling dull! After refreshing my palate with pineapple and ginger, I enjoyed the ice cream and cheesecake. Personally, I would have liked the vanilla ice cream to have a bit more richness, but given the amount served towards the end of the course, it was probably just right. The cheesecake, which had no graininess at all, was flawless. I was also satisfied to have the truffle chocolate that had impressed me in Paris. I enjoyed it on the spot, but I was informed that the financier could be taken home as well. The explanations for each dish and the inquiries about wine preferences during the pairings were exceptional, showcasing the service that comes with a Michelin-starred restaurant. The open kitchen allows you to see the cooking process, making it a great option for solo diners.I definitely want to go back!
