I visited the renowned tonkatsu restaurant "Mange" on a rainy day. Despite the weather, I was able to get a table after about a 40-minute wait. I ordered the Super Golden Pork and Special Tenderloin set meals, and the light, crispy batter made them easy to enjoy. After the satisfying crunch, the rich flavor and sweetness of the pork burst in my mouth.The Super Golden Pork stood out for its sweet and high-quality fat, without feeling heavy at all. The Special Tenderloin was surprisingly moist and tender, with a juiciness that you wouldn’t expect from lean meat. Each dish had its own distinct character, making the comparison a delightful experience.The pickles that came with the set meal were also exceptional. They were so delicious that they went beyond just being a palate cleanser, pairing perfectly with the rice. Eating them between bites of tonkatsu refreshed my palate, allowing me to savor every last piece. It was a great meal!
