I can honestly say I've never been to a high-end sushi restaurant before, but I'm so glad my first experience was at Sushi Sanshin! I might end up raising my sushi standards too high after this, haha.From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an overwhelming welcome. It really felt like I had arrived at a sushi restaurant! I was excited to start my sushi journey here.As for the sushi itself, the preparation of the ingredients and the temperature of the rice for each piece were perfect and incredibly delicious. With each bite, the flavors evolved in my mouth, and I never got tired of eating. This experience was truly exceptional. I even got to try sushi made with sweetfish and fresh conger eel, which I had never tasted before, and they were absolutely delightful. The standout for me was the purple sea urchin. It was served on rice made with river nori, and the combination was a match made in heaven. The sea urchin was also incredibly fresh and had no off-putting taste at all!I went with my younger brother, and I have no doubt that this restaurant is worth skipping class for. I really wanted to take pictures of all the sushi, but I was so eager to eat that I ended up skipping a few pieces, haha.
