This time, I visited for a belated Mother's Day lunch celebration.I ordered the lunch course featuring squid ink paella, and for an additional JPY 1500 per person, I upgraded to the grilled aged beef from Shiga Sakaeya.- Assorted PinchosThis included sea snail, dorayaki with yellowfin tuna, cod with paprika, cheese with quince jam, kohada with baguette and cheese, and shiitake mushroom ajillo. Each pincho was carefully crafted and paired perfectly with drinks. The dorayaki was an unexpected combination, with the subtly sweet dorayaki and the sweet-salty tuna creating a striking dish. The cheese with quince jam was also incredibly addictive.- Bream GazpachoThis elegant dish highlighted the mild deliciousness of the bream, enhanced by the rich gazpacho.- Grilled Aged Beef from Shiga SakaeyaThe meat became sweeter with each bite, harmonizing beautifully with the rich aroma of the charcoal grill.- Squid Ink Paella with Alioli SauceAn undeniable masterpiece. The rich umami of the squid ink and the creaminess of the alioli sauce were impressive. The alioli was so delicious that I wanted to take some home to use in various dishes.- Basque CheesecakeIt was incredibly creamy. When I inserted my fork, it melted beautifully.- Tocinillo de Cielo and CoffeeA small sweet treat that was just right to finish off the meal.Since all the pinchos were delicious and paired well with drinks, I personally think it would be wonderful if there were a casual bar time where you could just order those and some wine for a relaxed visit.The only downside this time was that the oshibori (wet towel) had a fishy smell.
