I regularly visit Goichi Honten in Higobashi. It's conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Higobashi Station, and while it's a popular spot that can be hard to reserve, it's one of my favorite places. What I look forward to every time are the "Momotataki" (chicken thigh sashimi) and "Kimo & Tamahimo" (chicken liver and heart). The Momotataki is cooked to perfection, allowing you to fully enjoy the rare texture and rich flavor of the chicken. I highly recommend it for those who love rare dishes. Of course, for those who are not fond of rare meat or have concerns, I suggest having it cooked thoroughly.Another must-try is the Kimo and Tamahimo. There’s no unpleasant odor, and the cooking is just right, making it a perfect match with drinks. The seasoning is also to my liking, so I end up ordering it every time.I often enjoy my meals around 4 PM, and I appreciate that they open early. You can savor delicious yakitori and drinks in a calm atmosphere. The course prices, including drinks, are also incredibly reasonable. This is a cherished favorite that I want to continue visiting regularly. It was a great meal!
