I visited SEZANNE at Four Seasons Marunouchi. It had been a while since my last visit, having been there 2-3 times around the time of its opening. This was my first time since the chef changed. The dishes incorporate seasonal ingredients and Japanese flavors, served in small portions. The main meat dish was truly delicious. I’ve sometimes found French cuisine to be too rich, but here I felt I could have eaten even more. The bread was also delightful, and I ended up asking for a second helping. It was a Danish pastry, and it paired perfectly with Bordier butter.I was shown a crab, which was very much in line with SEZANNE's style. For dessert, I was pleased to have the mille-feuille. The pastry was light and didn’t weigh me down at all.The service was efficient, with the waitstaff being very prompt, so there were no delays at all. The initial champagne was no longer available.Chef Daniel is set to open a new restaurant in Azabudai Hills this autumn. I’m looking forward to it!
