I visited a renowned sushi restaurant in Gaienmae! As I entered the restaurant under the hot sun, the first dish served was tuna. Ah, having delicious tuna right at the start brings a sense of reassurance. (*´艸`*) Next came the sashimi and chilled egg tofu, followed by steamed abalone and fried clams, gradually transitioning to warmer dishes. Enjoying each one with some sake, my favorite, the skipjack tuna, made its appearance! It was simply grilled, which enhanced its natural sweetness, making the Japanese sake flow smoothly. After finishing the unique texture of the kudzu noodles, it was finally time for the nigiri! (*´ω`*) Starting with sweet shrimp and squid, I then had bonito with a hint of seasoning, followed by another round of tuna. I had three pieces in succession: lean, medium fatty, and fatty tuna, gradually increasing the richness, but personally, I found the medium fatty tuna to be the most delicious! ☆ Then, after a refreshing horse mackerel, I enjoyed rich sea urchin and a clear soup, culminating in a warm egg and cucumber roll (the freshly made one was so good). However, I got a bit greedy and ordered many extras! (´・ω・`) I started with the melt-in-your-mouth spring sea bream, followed by surf clams, flat clams, milk clams, and red clams, truly a shellfish feast! ☆ミ I savored each unique flavor, but personally, the milk clam was especially delicious. In the end, I couldn't resist adding a cucumber roll that caught my eye from another table, and I had a wonderful experience enjoying both the appetizers and nigiri along with sake during lunch! (*^_^*) I am grateful to the staff for this amazing experience!
