This place is absolutely amazing.To put it in a specialized way, I think this restaurant is like Djokovic in tennis. Djokovic is an all-around player with world-class abilities in serving, returning, stroking, defense, mental strength, and tennis IQ. He is not just outstanding in one specific area, but rather excels in overall capability.Similarly, at Kataori, I felt that everything from the dashi (broth), tempura, grilled dishes, freshness of ingredients, service, to the overall composition of the dishes (culinary IQ) is top-notch.While there are specialists who excel in specific areas, like Nadal on clay courts or Federer on grass, Kataori combines various elements at a high level. I truly felt that this restaurant is the Djokovic of the culinary world. It's no surprise that it ranks number one on Tabelog!I am writing my honest thoughts based on my actual visit.
