This is the only restaurant in Okinawa that has received a Tabelog Bronze award.Located on Kouri Island, it takes just under two hours by car from Naha's Kokusai Street.First and foremost, the time of your visit and the weather greatly affect your satisfaction at this restaurant. They have two seating times at 4 PM and 7 PM, but I highly recommend the 4 PM slot.I visited at 7 PM this time, but Kouri Island is incredibly beautiful, and the views while crossing the Kouri Bridge and from inside the restaurant are best enjoyed during the 4 PM seating.Another important factor is the weather. It's advisable to avoid the rainy season and book on days with plenty of sunshine. Unfortunately, it was raining during my visit. The course dishes are all thoughtfully crafted, showcasing creativity and meticulous preparation. The tableware and cutlery are beautiful and unique, featuring knives and axes that you wouldn't typically see in regular restaurants. The portion sizes are decent, so those with hearty appetites should be fine. I believe you can also request a refill of rice during the main meat course. The final dessert is quite substantial as well.Personally, I really enjoyed the roasted cauliflower. It was cut with an axe instead of a knife, and the combination of the buttery aroma, the crispy texture, and the sweetness of the cauliflower made for an impressive experience. On the other hand, the meat was a bit underwhelming for me. I found it to be too light and lacking in flavor.Overall, I believe this restaurant offers a wonderful experience that truly feels extraordinary, just as the reviews suggest! It was delicious. It was a great meal.-----------------------------Thank you very much for reading until the end.I am incredibly happy with all the "follows," "likes," and "saving the restaurant" from everyone.I appreciate your continued support!---------------------------
