This popular restaurant in Kagoshima alternates between sushi and Japanese cuisine. It is run by the two sons of the renowned sushi restaurant "Isshin Sushi Koyo" in Miyazaki, both of whom have bright and humorous personalities, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere throughout. The quality of the dishes is impressive, with a strong focus on fresh ingredients. Each dish is meticulously prepared, and the scallops, abalone, bonito, and soup are all incredibly delicious. The sushi is on the smaller side, featuring a well-balanced red vinegar rice.Among the sushi, I particularly enjoyed the fluffy an-kimo (monkfish liver) nigiri. The creamy an-kimo paired perfectly with the vinegared rice, creating a delightful combination.Personally, I wasn't as impressed with the eel. It seemed to be grilled with a sauce, but it didn't leave a strong impression on me.While people from outside the prefecture might think of it as a sushi restaurant, the meal ends with clay pot rice, and the number of nigiri pieces is not overwhelming, so those wanting to eat more sushi might feel a bit unsatisfied. The variety of dishes is abundant, and the course is designed to ensure you feel completely satisfied by the end. When thinking of Kagoshima sushi, "Nomura" often comes to mind, but I believe this place deserves more attention for how good it is!It was delicious.Thank you for the great meal.-----------------------------Thank you very much for reading until the end.I truly appreciate all your "follows," "likes," and "saving the restaurant." I look forward to your continued support.---------------------------
