Just a 3-minute walk from Hongo Sanchome Station!I revisited the renowned Yakiniku Jumbo Hanare, which has been selected for "The Tabelog Award" and recognized as one of the top 100 restaurants!When it comes to Yakiniku Jumbo, it’s an undisputed leader in the Japanese Yakiniku scene!Since its founding in 1989 by the former chairman, Mr. Tatsuomi Nambara, in Shinozaki, they have been serving "delicious Yakiniku" for over 30 years.Currently, Mr. Norimitsu Nambara, the son, is at the helm, leading the restaurant through both traditional and innovative evolution.In addition to Shinozaki and Hongo (Hanare), they have franchises in Shirokane, Hong Kong, and recently opened in Jakarta, truly representing Yakiniku on a global scale!The Hanare location opened in September 2013!It is situated in a relatively quiet area, just a short distance from Hongo Sanchome Station.The restaurant features two floors, with 25 seats mainly in private rooms and a counter, providing a bright and calming atmosphere to enjoy exquisite Yakiniku!On this day, I was able to indulge in an impressive Yakiniku course.Here’s what I enjoyed and my thoughts:★ Kimchi ★ Namul ★ Heart ★ Skewered Outside Skirt ★ Nohara Yaki ★ Yukhoe ★ Grilled Seaweed ★ Tongue ★ Top Sirloin ★ Wagyu Nigiri with Sirloin Cap and Brown Rice Tea ★ Chateaubriand ★ Beef Rice ★ Gyudon (Beef Bowl) ★ Omurice "Yakiniku is the best!" This menu truly reaffirmed that for me!The unique style of Jumbo, which has evolved without straying from the genre of "Yakiniku," is truly one of a kind.Leading with their signature dish, Nohara Yaki, which made a significant impact in the Yakiniku world, along with the skewered Outside Skirt and the masterfully crafted Chateaubriand, everything was exceptional!The finishing rice dishes were also remarkable, featuring the famous Beef Rice, a traditionally evolved Gyudon, and the hidden gem Omurice, all of which were outstanding!I look forward to continuing my visits to Yakiniku Jumbo Hanare!I can’t wait for my next visit!It was a great meal!
