I visited Sazenka on a day when an unexpected heavy rain made getting there quite a challenge, which dampened my spirits a bit at the start. However, I was immediately captivated by the first dish, the xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), which was served at full throttle. The second dish, ayu marinated in Shaoxing wine, was a first-time experience for me, and the texture of the fish was simply outstanding.The subsequent classic dishes followed perfectly, leaving me completely satisfied. I plan to return during the season for Shanghai crab.
