On a Tuesday in July, I visited with my wife and daughter. We arrived around 9 AM and found two groups ahead of us. We joined the line in third place and waited for a bit. Ordering began just after 10 AM, and I placed an order for a large rice with spiciness level 3 (a solid level of heat). After paying, we received a ticket for 12:20 (I specifically requested this time) and left the restaurant.We killed some time... Five minutes before our reservation, we returned and were shown to the counter seats.I ordered the Chicken Curry with Rich Flavor and large rice for JPY 1550 (JPY 1400 + JPY 150). It had increased by JPY 200 since my last visit in March.The curry soup, enriched with chicken broth, was delicious. The chicken thigh pieces (two) were tender and flavorful. The spiciness level 3 was just right. While the spice level was enjoyable, the default level might allow for a better appreciation of the soup's umami.I mixed the onion pickles generously served with the rice and the marinated tomatoes that accompanied the clay pot of curry as I ate. I couldn't stop scooping with my spoon. In the end, I added the rice to the clay pot, mixed it with the soft-boiled egg, and grated in some mixed spices with Sichuan pepper from the mill.It was a great meal.
