I had some errands nearby and decided to visit this popular tonkatsu restaurant at 12:30 on a weekend, hoping for the best. There were people waiting outside, which made me a bit anxious. As soon as I opened the door, I saw a sign-up sheet for lunch and dinner at the counter. I asked the staff if I could still register for lunch, and they confirmed it was fine! I was relieved; the 20-minute walk from the station was worth it. ^ - ^ After writing down my name and phone number, I was told they would contact me when it was my turn. After wandering around the area for about an hour, I was called in. The restaurant had a stylish interior with only counter seating. I ordered the premium hirekatsu (pork fillet cutlet) with a set meal for JPY 2,850 while watching the katsu being prepared right in front of me. The cross-section of the katsu was beautifully pink! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))♡ The aroma of the fresh breadcrumbs was delightful, and the texture was wonderfully crispy! The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. There are so many items on the menu, so it's a good idea to check the official website beforehand. I noticed someone returning with a menu while I was waiting inside, so I thought I would decide on my order then, but I was quickly shown to my seat, which caught me off guard. _|￣|○ I regretted not having made my choice earlier while watching others take away delicious meals.
