Having been impressed by the previous course meal, I chose the weekend-only order buffet this time. The moment I stepped into the special location on the 37th floor of the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo, I knew I was in for a unique experience.I started with the soup "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall." Its layers of umami created a deep flavor that seeped into my body. It was luxurious yet comforting, and from this soup alone, I could already sense the skill of "Sense."Among the three types of premium dim sum that followed, the standout was the "Wagyu Tenderloin and Morel Mushroom Steamed Dumpling." The delicate flavor of the meat intertwined gently with the aroma of the morel, creating a dish that was both luxurious and refined—truly representative of Sense. It was arguably the best steamed dumpling I have ever had.All the dim sum were incredibly delicious, and I repeated the order for the "Snow Crab and Shrimp Steamed Dumpling." The sweetness of the crab and the delightful texture of the shrimp harmonized perfectly within the hot skin, making it exceptional. The other option, "Beef and Black Garlic Steamed Dumpling," was also of very high quality, and the time spent savoring these dishes transcended a mere meal, becoming something truly special.Despite being an order buffet where you can order until you are full, each dish was crafted with care, leaving me completely satisfied. The warm smiles of the manager and the attentive service from the staff enhanced the special day even further. While it is certainly a wonderful choice for couples or anniversaries, I believe it is also a great plan for families who want to celebrate a special occasion in a high-quality setting while enjoying a hearty meal. For those who wish to spend a quiet, refined time with loved ones, I highly recommend this exceptional restaurant for celebrating special days.
