Reservations opened at 8:00 AM the day before via Tablecheck. When I tried to book a slot for the first day of Golden Week at 8:01, all slots were already filled. A few days later, I attempted to reserve a spot for the middle of Golden Week right at 8:00 AM and successfully secured a reservation. I booked for two people at 12:15 PM, with a service fee of JPY 780 for two.The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building, an 8-minute walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Gochome Station on the Oedo Line.Inside, there are only six counter seats. You purchase a meal ticket from the vending machine at the entrance. By 12:15 PM, half of the menu items were sold out, including the dish I had my eye on, so I chose the • Aji Tamago Sio Ramen for JPY 1,600. Payment is cash only.I placed my meal ticket on the counter and waited for a while. Self-service water is available from a water dispenser, and it was nicely chilled. It took about 10 minutes from purchasing the meal ticket to receiving my order. The dish included a soft-boiled aji tamago, three types of chashu, finely sliced menma, green onions, cilantro, and onion fries. The flavor of the Sio Ramen was different from what I had imagined; it was stronger on the onion flavor and more robust than refreshing, giving it a unique character. Each of the three types of chashu had distinct flavors and thickness, making me excited to try each piece. The aji tamago had a delicious runny yolk.If I have the chance to visit again, I would like to try the Szechuan Ramen that caught my interest.
