Visited on May 23, 2026 (Saturday) at 16:55 (reservation made). The restaurant was fully booked, as usual. I made a reservation for the "Straightforward Course" (JPY 18,000; please see the photos for the menu details). This course allows you to enjoy the trademarked "Buri Rice," "Buri Katsu Sandwich," and "Filet Sukiyaki," so I always choose this course when I visit. The total meat amount is 310g, and when you include a small portion of rice and the finishing noodles, it offers a substantial volume. You can definitely indulge in Wagyu to your heart's content!Additionally, with full service, there's no worry about undercooking or burning the meat, and even with drinks included, the price is incredibly reasonable at just over JPY 10,000!Although the restaurant is always fully booked when I visit, I find it appealing that reservations for places like OMAKASE don’t fill up in just a few minutes or hours, making it relatively easy to secure a spot. For those curious about the details of each menu item in the course, please see below.-----◯ Three Appetizers The beef stew features very tender meat and chunky vegetables served in a small bowl. It's a perfect dish to warm up your stomach before the yakiniku, and the flavor was outstanding. The kimchi was not overly spicy and had a rich umami flavor, making it an excellent choice as an appetizer or palate cleanser. The salad had a simple dressing similar to Choregi salad, but the sesame added a nice touch and was quite delicious.◯ Thick-Sliced Salted Tongue The texture was pleasantly chewy, with no unpleasant odor, making it very enjoyable. With a variety of seasonings available on the table, you can pair it with spices, green onion salt sauce, or even skip the lemon, which was a nice surprise.◯ Wagyu Lean Meat with Sauce On this day, it was a cut called "Tate" from the filet. This cut had a strong beef flavor while being incredibly tender.◯ Kagoshima Wagyu (Outside Skirt) With a crisp texture and no unpleasant odor, this cut was grilled to a slightly charred perfection, making it perhaps the most meaty of all the options in this course. It’s so popular that some customers choose the course just for this item, showcasing its quality.◯ Wagyu Lean Meat or Marbled Wagyu On this day, the lean cut was top sirloin from Kagoshima, and the marbled cut was strip loin from Miyazaki. We were a party of three, with two choosing the lean (in the back of the photo) and one opting for the marbled (in the front). The marbled cut had a rich fat content but was not greasy at all, allowing you to savor the sweetness of the fat.◯ Buri Rice This dish features thick slices of Chateaubriand grilled with a garlic butter soy sauce. Just reading about it guarantees deliciousness. The slices are over 1cm thick but are so tender that you hardly need teeth to enjoy them. The garlic butter soy sauce was so good that I wanted to take some home in a thermos! You can choose between white rice or seasonal mixed rice (on this day, bamboo shoots and mushrooms).I often choose white rice to enjoy the meat's flavor more, but my companions said the mixed rice was incredibly delicious. Either choice is a win!◯ Buri Katsu Sandwich This sandwich features bread sourced from a renowned bakery selected as one of Osaka's top 100 bread shops. The soft Chateaubriand sandwich is a delightful treat that you can only enjoy at the restaurant.During this visit, the bread had a slight variation, showcasing their relentless pursuit of improvement (which is why it was so delicious!).The mustard mayonnaise sauce for flavor variation paired perfectly!◯ Special Filet Sukiyaki This dish uses the filet mignon cut from the filet. It’s paired with a rich, sweet soy-based sauce made with premium "Tsumande Tamago" eggs. All the meats were tender, but this one was so soft that it could easily tear apart, making it easy to enjoy even after a hearty meal.◯ Finishing Noodles You can choose between cold noodles or Bolognese, with a recommendation for the Bolognese! The chewy thick noodles from Asakusa Kaikarou combined with the Wagyu filet Bolognese sauce created a perfect pasta dish! This is one of my favorite dishes that makes me want to come back just for it!◯ Dessert The dessert options change slightly each day, but on this day, we had a choice of pistachio, black soybean kinako, or yuzu sorbet. My top recommendation is the pistachio. It’s of such high quality that it rivals specialty shops. The inclusion of some pistachio pieces added a nice accent, which was a delightful touch.-----Once again, it was a thoroughly satisfying meal!
