I arrived at 16:05 on a weekday after taking a day off, and there were 2 people ahead of me in line. This was my third attempt to visit due to unexpected closures, so I was relieved. The wait felt a bit daunting, haha. By 16:40, they counted the people in line, and they decided to stop at 9. Beware of mosquitoes while waiting! I finally entered at 17:25, and I started eating at 17:55.I ordered the beef tongue curry with seasonal vegetables added. The tongue was huge and incredibly tender. The seasonal vegetables included bell peppers, nagaimo (Japanese yam), zucchini, and more—plenty to enjoy. The curry had a bitter first impression, but as I continued eating, it became rich in flavor. It wasn't very spicy. The side dishes included fukujinzuke (pickled vegetables) and onions. I absolutely love these onions. The atmosphere of the restaurant made it feel less like I was just having curry and more like I was indulging in a feast. Even if it takes time and costs more than regular curry, I can understand why people would want to come here.
