After about two years, I returned to Yakiniku Kosen. It's just a one-minute walk from Keisei Tateishi Station.Located in a downtown area, this restaurant is a popular spot for yakiniku lovers across the country, making reservations quite difficult. This time, I was fortunate enough to be invited to a special seat on the second floor.Unlike the counter on the first floor, this space allowed us to gather comfortably around the table. We started with a toast over tea.Of course, I was looking forward to the delicious meat at Kosen, but what made this day special was being able to invite friends to join us, as I had hoped to gather everyone together for this occasion.Joining me were chefs who regularly work with meat and my usual dining companions. We enjoyed tongue, outside skirt, ribeye, hanging tender, tail, and horumon...Each cut was consistently delicious, but what stood out the most was the "cooking technique."It was impressive to see the chefs, who are usually focused on meat, naturally smiling and enjoying the cooking process. As we grilled the first and second pieces, we adjusted the cooking time slightly and took the time to compare the differences together. Both the grillers and eaters engaged in lively conversations, saying things like, "This cooking is just right" and "This one is interesting."Even with the same cut, the aroma, texture, and sweetness of the fat changed with the cooking technique. The time spent savoring these differences together is something that is rarely experienced. While the meat was undoubtedly delicious, I believe it was the atmosphere of the day that further enhanced its flavor. This unforgettable yakiniku experience included not only the delicious meat but also the time spent with everyone who joined me.Currently, making a reservation at this restaurant is still quite challenging.I am grateful for the opportunity to be invited to such a special seat this time.- Price Range: JPY 15,000 - 16,000- Reservation: Required (currently very difficult to book)- Usage: We used the second-floor tatami room, which allows groups to enjoy a leisurely meal together. If I have the chance again, I would love to visit. It was a great meal! ^ ^Thank you for reading until the end.If you could give a "like" or "save," it would encourage me in my daily posts.I would also be happy if you could casually check out any restaurants that catch your interest.
