I finally managed to secure a reservation for the weekday 12:00 slot after a fierce competition. I honestly didn’t think I would get a spot. While I couldn’t eat two bowls like some others due to my stomach size, I chose a menu item packed with ingredients since I was lucky enough to get a reservation.【Ordered Menu】Wonton Soy Sauce Chashu Ramen - JPY 3,000I took my seat at the well-organized counter and began to enjoy the ramen that was served. The wontons included two types: pork and chicken. This was my first time having a ramen with two kinds of wontons, and they were quite large. The chashu also came in two varieties: Kirishima and Tokyo X. The Kirishima was thinly sliced and so tender it felt like it would melt in my mouth, giving it a delicate quality. In contrast, the Tokyo X was slightly thicker, though not excessively so. I enjoyed the differences in texture and flavor. The broth, upon the first sip, released a gentle aroma of soy sauce, and while it was refreshing, it also had a rich umami flavor. The thin, straight noodles had a smooth texture, creating a wonderful harmony with the broth.I usually don’t finish the soup, but here I drank it all. While it’s certainly not cheap and a bit difficult to reach from the city center, the exceptional taste makes the challenge of securing a reservation completely understandable.
