A Sichuan restaurant in Gifu, this place is the origin of the renowned Ginza "Furuta" and Nagatacho "CHIUnE." I haven't been to either of those restaurants, so I can't explain the differences or lineage, but I expected strong spicy flavors when I heard "Sichuan cuisine." Instead, I found the dishes to be quite delicate in flavor.■ Menu:⚪︎ Fried dumplings with sea urchin and scallops, served with white sauce⚪︎ Assorted appetizers: - Mugwort-infused sesame tofu, century egg - Char siu (Chinese BBQ pork) - Salmon with jasmine tea and jellyfish → The salmon had a fresh taste, and the sesame tofu was spicier than expected.⚪︎ Chicken and Kinugasa mushrooms in clear broth⚪︎ Shrimp and ginger spring rolls⚪︎ Steamed trout with cream sauce and clams⚪︎ Braised pork belly with satay sauce⚪︎ Dan Dan noodles⚪︎ Almond tofu and sorbet■ Duration: 1 hour■ Reservation Difficulty: Moderate I made a reservation by phone since there was no online booking for one person.■ Cost Performance: Good
