I enjoyed sushi at Sushi Ryujiro. With the arrival of the rainy season, the temperature has settled down a bit from the previous heat, but summer ingredients are gradually becoming more prevalent.- Chutoro from Aomori, weighing 109.6kg: A familiar greeting. Beautiful fat and delicious!- Matsukawa-karei: This one is also rich and tasty.- Konoko Chawanmushi: So delicious!- Steamed Abalone: Served with salt and wasabi. Tender and flavorful! I saw it being prepared right in front of me, and I’m curious about the liver's fate.- Hamo (pike eel): My first of the year! The bone cutting was perfect! I heard it was prepared by someone trained in traditional Japanese cuisine. However, it was still lean and had a refreshing flavor.- Zunomori: This is also my first time enjoying it cold this season. Summer is approaching! So refreshing!- Grilled Unagi (eel): The skin is crispy while the flesh is tender. (゚д゚) Delicious!!- Mizukumo Kuzu Somen: The chewy kuzusomen paired with the tender mizukumo and light soy sauce broth is fantastic!!Now, let’s move on to the nigiri.- Shoboro Ika (squid): Served with wasabi, sushi rice, yuzu peel, and salt, followed by sudachi. Perfectly sticky and matches well with the rice! Delicious!- Shima Ebi (sweet shrimp): Sweet and tender!- Aji (horse mackerel): Topped with wasabi, chopped green onion, and ginger. So flavorful!- Akami (lean tuna): It’s from the same fish as the first one, but despite being smaller, it’s firm and delicious!- Se-toro: A lighter version of chutoro, very nice.- O-toro: The richness is just right!- Kohada (shad): Firm and tasty!- Murasaki Uni (purple sea urchin): A gunkan maki made by the apprentice. Melts in your mouth! So good!- Soup: Dashi broth.- Anakyu Maki: A roll made by another apprentice. Soft and delicious.- Tamagoyaki: Moist and tasty. This concludes the course, and among the items not served were Hokkigai (surf clam), Akagai (red clam), Katsuo (bonito), Engawa (flounder fin), and various rolls...- Extra Katsuo: Served with ginger. Tender and refreshing. The ginger adds a nice kick!- Extra Hokkigai: Crunchy! So sweet!- Extra Akagai: I requested it with the string. It was bigger than I expected! But delicious!Once again, everything was delicious. It was a great meal!
