I visited the most highly rated and famous restaurant in Shizuoka, Naruse.When you think of Shizuoka, Naruse is often the first name that comes to mind. I took a taxi from the station, and I doubt there’s a driver who doesn’t know about Naruse.Arriving a bit early, I enjoyed some tea in the waiting room while relaxing. Once I was seated, the experience truly began.We started with a peach puree and sashimi, then moved on to the tempura. The fish here is delicious, but the vegetables are equally outstanding. The hot tempura was delightful, enjoyed not just with salt but also with plenty of dipping sauce and grated daikon, keeping the experience varied and enjoyable until the very end.I would love to come back in a different season.It was a great meal!
