The owner is **Shota Iida**. He was deeply inspired by the late **Minoru Sano**, known as the "Ramen Demon," and pursued his ideal bowl of ramen through self-study. In 2010, he opened "Ramen Iida Shoten" in Yugawara. (The current name is Iida Shoten.) Furthermore, he has won the prestigious **TRY Ramen Award (Tokyo Ramen of the Year)**, achieving the top prize, the "TRY Award," four consecutive times, earning a place in the hall of fame, making it one of Japan's representative ramen shops. Before entering, I purchased a meal ticket from the vending machine at the entrance. They also accept credit card payments, making the process very smooth. On this day, I ordered the **Shoyu Ramen** and **Vegetable Rice**. Upon entering, I was impressed by how Mr. Iida personally greeted each customer with warmth and hospitality. When my bowl arrived, I was immediately captivated by its beautifully arranged presentation. Taking my first bite, I was moved by a unique flavor that was unlike any ramen I had ever tasted before. The standout was definitely the broth. Made with carefully selected jidori chicken and kurobuta pork, the broth was layered with fragrant soy sauce, offering a robust umami while maintaining an astonishingly clear aftertaste. The homemade noodles made from domestically produced wheat complemented the broth perfectly, allowing me to enjoy every last drop without getting bored. "Even if it's far away, I want to come back again." This was a place where I could savor one of Japan's finest ramen! It was a great meal.
