I visited the restaurant alone at 7:52 AM on a weekday. I was the first customer, but soon after, two more people arrived. By 8:15, there were five of us, and the line started to grow from there. At 9:10, the owner came out and set up a registration table. After explaining how to fill it out, we began to register. I wrote my full name for my desired arrival time slot (10:50) and left the restaurant. I returned around 10:45, and there was one spot available for the 14:20 time slot.At 10:50, the owner came out and guided us inside in the order of our reservations.I ordered the Roka Plate (choosing the Roka Chicken Curry) for JPY 1,250 plus a small curry (lamb curry) for JPY 450. Each dish is made with great care, and it arrived in about three minutes.The chicken curry and the slightly spicier lamb curry both spread spices in my mouth. It was incredibly spicy, yet somehow it felt like a flavor that appeals to Japanese tastes.On the other hand, the sweetly seasoned Lu Rou Fan was delicious, and I wished I could have had a bit more.Since it had been a while, I opted for the regular menu, but next time I want to try the limited offerings.The owner's attentive service and the lively discussions about curry with regular customers conveyed a strong passion for curry, which was delightful.It was a great meal!
