As a sushi lover, there are still a few famous local restaurants I couldn't visit, and one of them is "Komatsu Yasuke" in Kanazawa. I was able to visit right after the bottom trawling fishing season opened! I enjoyed:- Marinated tuna- Sashimi (swordfish, horse mackerel, shrimp, and other fish)- Steamed abalone- Red squid- Sweet shrimp- Seared fatty tuna- Sushi with marinated tuna and purple sea urchin- Clam- Sweetfish- Grilled eel with cucumberAdditional items:- Negitoro roll- Kanpyo roll- Namida rollI think I could come here about once a year. Sushi really is best enjoyed in the colder months! Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the sweet shrimp, which I usually wouldn't eat. I made an effort to try it, and the unique texture and flavor were outstanding! Compared to high-end sushi restaurants in Tokyo, the atmosphere here is a bit more casual, and the prices are about half of what you'd pay in Tokyo, making it more accessible for everyone. Well, let's consider that part of its charm!
