I had lunch at "Reminiscence" in the Higashi Ward of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. I enjoyed a culinary experience crafted by owner-chef Masaki Katsuhara and the concierge & sommelier. The dishes primarily featured local Aichi ingredients, and the fish was sourced from Maeda Fish Shop in Yaizu. This time, I also had the pleasure of tasting the grilled eel from Isshiki Town, which was just as impressive as the one I had at an eel restaurant in Ito City during my recent visit. The sommelier paired a red wine with the grilled eel, allowing me to compare it with my dinner from the previous night. The accompanying bread was from "Tran Bleu" in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. As I left the restaurant, I received a warm farewell from the chef, making for a truly delightful experience. I look forward to visiting again in the evening.
