Finally, I made my first visit to Kizan, the restaurant of Yuki Kanamori, the last disciple of the late chef Nishida from the renowned Kyoto restaurant, Kyo-mi!I loved Kyo-mi, which was located in Nishishinbashi, but sadly it closed at the end of 2019. I visited many times, but since photography was prohibited, I have few memories captured in pictures.Kizan opened in October 2024, focusing on recreating the dishes of the late Nishida. I’m excited to enjoy the cuisine here. Especially the grilled eggplant with sea urchin was delicious, with the warm eggplant and the sea urchin having an exceptional sweetness.The hamo mamushi to finish was also delicious, and I had seconds of the sukiyaki!
