That said, I don't eat yakitori very often—maybe just 2 or 3 times a year.However, this was the best yakitori I've ever had!I had trouble finding the entrance, and being a bit scatterbrained, I overlooked the floor number. It's on the 2nd floor.They operate in three time slots: 17:40, around 19:00, and around 21:00.The seating is only at the counter, and they do not accept reservations for new customers. It seems they are fully booked every day with customers making reservations for their next visit when they dine in.What I loved was that the meal progressed with appetizers, soups, salads, and other dishes, rather than just focusing on skewers.Many places serve only skewers, but here, the variety of flavors and dishes was excellent.The wine selection was also impressive and truly delicious.The owner is charming and chatty if you engage him, but can seem unfriendly if you don’t. Maybe he’s just shy? He seems to read the atmosphere at the counter well.The reservation process is a bit of a downside. I wish the restaurant could be more open, but I understand they have their own policies and values regarding customer care. Unfortunately, from a customer's perspective, this is a bit disappointing.
