【Recommended Restaurant★】It’s been a while since my last visit to Yakitori Higebozu. Thanks to a foodie friend who made a reservation, this was my first time back since they started using Takasaka chicken.I tried the chicken breast and thigh, and it was clear that the quality of the chicken has improved significantly. Coupled with the already delicious vegetable skewers from Yoichi, the overall experience was elevated. The grilling was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again in a different season.I can’t wait for my next visit!==================================〈*Reposting the following*〉Located about a 5-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Namboku Line, this yakitori restaurant has been selected as a Tabelog BRONZE 2025 & 2026 and one of Tabelog's Top 100 Restaurants from 2023 to 2025.The charming owner, Mr. Murakami, who has a dandy style, was formerly a banker. His serious demeanor while grilling left a strong impression. The restaurant operates on a reservation-only basis, starting at either 18:30 or 19:30, with a minimum of two guests required. Since the two-person minimum was a bit challenging, I had to persuade the owner of a certain izakaya to join me for this visit. The course includes 12 skewers? plus soba and mushroom skewers for JPY 7,700 (tax included) for a single experience. Wine is available only by the bottle, so I opted for beer and Japanese sake by the glass.(*Currently, the course using Takasaka chicken is JPY 13,200, tax included*)The heart, neck meat, and white liver were grilled to perfection, followed by a beautifully sweet red eggplant skewer. The subsequent skewers of asparagus and the spicy green chili tsukune were also outstanding, showcasing the deliciousness of the vegetable skewers. If I have the chance again, I would love to visit. I’m looking forward to my next experience!==================================【Course at JPY 13,200 (tax included)】1. Chicken Breast2. Chicken Thigh3. Snap Peas4. Liver5.
