When you want to enjoy innovative French cuisine, you don't have to go to France; restaurants in Hong Kong and Japan are perfect for us. I made a reservation two months in advance with prepayment. The dinner course is JPY 16,500, and the wine selection ranges from JPY 770 to JPY 40,000, which I think is quite reasonable. I ordered a craft beer.Returning to the price, JPY 16,500 is truly a great deal. In Hong Kong, a meal of this quality would cost around JPY 40,000 to JPY 50,000. The chef at Sola is very young and full of passion for cooking, and I was impressed by the wonderful teamwork and meticulous craftsmanship of the staff. It's also helpful that there are staff members who speak Chinese.Every dish in this course was delicious, and I was particularly excited about the "Genmai Kuro-ushi" (brown rice black beef). The texture was fantastic. You can really feel the dedication and care put into the fish dishes as well. Having this restaurant is truly a blessing for the people of Fukuoka.
