Day 3 of my trip to Niigata, lunchtime.The previous night, I stayed in Tsubame-Sanjo (after visiting Uozen), and then I traveled from Tsubame-Sanjo to Murakami. (Even with the Shinkansen and express train, it took about an hour and a half.)Finally, I arrived at my long-awaited Kappou Shintaku. The restaurant's exterior already radiated a delicious aura.In reality, every dish was truly delicious.The pairing of nine types of Japanese sake enhanced the flavors even more.It's quite far, but I would love to visit this restaurant at least once a year.By the way, on the way back, due to the rain, all trains between Murakami and Niigata were suspended. While we were at the station, two customers who had come alone to Kappou Shintaku kindly approached us, and the four of us shared a taxi to Niigata. It cost JPY 27,000, but we managed to split it in half. After that, we were able to catch the Shinkansen back to Tokyo safely. Thank you for reaching out!
