My leisurely days of visiting renowned restaurants continue. This year, I decided to replenish my stamina a bit after Doyo Ushi no Hi by visiting this place! It’s a reservation-only restaurant where you can book your menu in advance through TableCheck, so there's no need to worry about waiting in line, which is a big plus. It's also very close to the station, which is quite convenient. ᐢ o̴̶̷̤ ﻌ o̴̶̷̤ ᐢOnce seated, I was served what seemed like an appetizer—grilled eel bones and liver! I had thought I would only get the unaju (grilled eel over rice), so this was a delightful surprise. Both were incredibly delicious! The unaju was prepared in the Kanto style, allowing me to fully enjoy the fluffy texture of the eel. I was born and raised in the Kansai region, so I generally prefer the Kansai style, but the sauce here was exceptionally tasty. It might just be my favorite Kanto-style unaju I've ever had! The high-quality fat of the eel paired perfectly with the refreshing and sharp sauce, which is hard to find at other places.Since it was a week after Doyo Ushi no Hi, there were no other customers waiting for reservations, allowing me to relax without feeling rushed, which was another plus. The service was excellent, and even though I don’t often get the chance to eat eel, I definitely want to come back here someday!
