I managed to secure a reservation at the renowned Yakiniku Seiryuuen in Kiyosumishirakawa. This was my second visit personally.Since they have a strict rotation system, we waited outside for the previous group to finish. There were about 20 people waiting, haha. After announcing our reservation name, we were let inside. We first ordered drinks. We toasted with draft beer for JPY 600, specifically Asahi SUPER DRY. Unfortunately, by the time our drinks arrived, the foam had disappeared, so no photos this time.- Salted Tongue: JPY 3,800 x 3 servings- Medium Salted Tongue: JPY 2,800 x 2 servings (maximum)- Outside Skirt: JPY 6,000 x 1 serving (maximum)- Salted Mino: JPY 1,900 x 2 servings- Salted Heart: JPY 1,400 x 2 servings- Premium Loin: JPY 5,333 and up x 3 servings- Yukke: JPY 2,000- Kimchi Platter: JPY 1,600- Namul: JPY 650- Teggutankukbap: JPY 1,200 (with rice)- Small Rice: JPY 300We ordered this much for three people. The total bill, including service charge, was around JPY 70,000. We were quite full, so we could have adjusted our order a bit.The standout dish was definitely the salted tongue; it was on another level. Of course, the outside skirt was also delicious at JPY 1,000 per piece. The mino was thick yet had a wonderful melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the heart was surprisingly juicy with a nice amount of fat.The yukke was exquisite; sharing one between two might be a good idea. I was also pleased to find seasonal water eggplant in the kimchi. The Teggutankukbap looked red and spicy, but it wasn't overwhelmingly hot, striking a perfect balance with incredible depth of flavor.
