I visited for a friend's birthday lunch! I was delighted to find that the chef is from a region close to my hometown, so it was nice to enjoy familiar ingredients and Japanese sake.⚫︎ Hadano-grown fruit tomatoes and junsai I love junsai! The vibrant red of the fruit tomatoes is beautiful!⚫︎ Sea bream and winter melon soup ⚫︎ Sashimi of Kue I enjoyed it with soy sauce and a reduction of shuto.⚫︎ Grilled sweetfish I love sweetfish and eat it at home, but at Tagetsu, they suggested, "Please eat it whole, including the head!" It was grilled perfectly, so I enjoyed every part, including the head and bones.⚫︎ Hassun The green maple leaves evoke the feeling of early summer. So beautiful! I especially loved the egg yolk shaped like a lantern and the simmered hamo roe.⚫︎ Soft-cooked eggplant and octopus ⚫︎ Red rice Since it was a birthday celebration, they served this! The red rice was generously topped with karasumi.⚫︎ Clay pot rice with corn The accompanying garlic chives and pickles paired wonderfully with the Japanese sake! The sake was from my hometown, Ryū, in Ashigara. I was thrilled to enjoy local sake at such a Michelin-starred restaurant in the city!⚫︎ Dessert The kuzukiri had a fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth texture, a delight with the sweetness of black syrup.Overall, the dishes were truly exceptional, as expected from a Michelin one-star restaurant! Everything was delicious! It was a great meal! ◡̈❁
