I visited on a Saturday night. I was the first in line around 15:30 and entered the restaurant just after 17:00. Since I was first, my dishes arrived about 20 minutes after I was seated.◆ Beef Tongue Curry JPY 3,800 + Seasonal Vegetables JPY 800 ◆ Chicken Curry JPY 2,700 + Seasonal Vegetables JPY 800 + Cheese JPY 500 + Extra Spicy JPY 200 ◆ Ebisu Beer (small bottle) JPY 600 x 2 = JPY 1,200 ◆ Ice Cream (Pistachio) JPY 800 Total: JPY 10,800 (for two people)By the time 12 people were lined up before opening, they had already sold out. At first glance, the prices might seem high, but once you taste the food, you realize it’s actually a great value! The ingredients are carefully selected, and you can tell a lot of time and effort went into making these truly delicious curries. The Beef Tongue Curry was tender and flavorful, with the curry sauce infused with the aroma of whole spices. The Chicken Curry was also tender, offering a different taste that was equally delightful. I had the Beef Tongue at medium spice and the Chicken at extra spicy. Even the extra spice wasn’t just heat from chili; it added depth with other spices, enhancing the richness of the dish. Even at extra spicy, the heat was quite mild. Of course, the curry was delicious, but the achar and the pistachio ice cream for dessert were incredibly tasty as well. The achar, made with onions, was surprisingly flavorful without any heat. The ice cream had a subtle sweetness that highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients, which I really enjoyed. I was told there were no stew dishes available this time, but I would love to try them if they’re available on my next visit. This is definitely a place worth queuing for, and I would love to come back!
