◆Visit Rating 4.24 2nd Best Yakitori in Osaka 15th Best Yakitori in Japan 3 Tocks from Goemiyo ◆About the Restaurant This renowned yakitori restaurant, known for its exceptional grilling techniques, is incredibly difficult to book. Originally established in Doyama-cho, Kita Ward, it relocated to its current location in Higobashi in 2019. Is this considered the main branch? The course with all-you-can-drink options costs JPY 14,000 for alcoholic beverages and JPY 12,000 for non-alcoholic drinks. Reservations can be made via OMAKASE or by phone. On this day, the course featured Tanba red chicken and young chicken. When I first learned about this place, the all-you-can-drink option was included for JPY 9,000, so the price increase is quite significant. ◆Impressions I made a reservation through OMAKASE and arrived before 9 PM. There were still a few guests dining inside. Although the meal starts at the same time for everyone, it seems that the departure times vary for some guests? Or were they late? The interior features an impressively long counter, arguably the longest for a yakitori restaurant in Japan. The atmosphere is not formal, making it very comfortable. The service was attentive and excellent. Additionally, despite the all-you-can-drink option, the drinks were served promptly, which is a testament to its popularity. The quality of the drinks was surprisingly high for an all-you-can-drink option, especially the white wine, which was remarkable enough that I wouldn’t be surprised if it cost JPY 12,000 per bottle. (Note: Red wine is charged separately.) The yakitori, while appearing quite ordinary, delivered an explosion of flavor that left me in ecstasy. This restaurant exceeded my expectations in a positive way. The deliciousness of the yakitori is an essential element of this popular Osaka restaurant, and it’s not just about the all-you-can-drink option; the yakitori is genuinely delicious, and luckily, drinks are unlimited. This place is highly recommended among yakitori restaurants in Japan. ◆Meal Cost (Tax Included) JPY 14,000 ◆Dishes Ordered (Food Only, Tax Included) ✔︎✔︎ Tomato and Onion Soup Very delicious with a unique flavor ✔︎✔︎ Salad Also very creative and tasty, with a special touch ✔︎✔︎✔︎ Grilled Thigh Very hearty, bursting with flavor—this dish completely won me over. ✔︎✔︎ Breast Looks light but is incredibly delicious. ✔︎✔︎✔︎ Heart Surprisingly delicious despite its appearance.
