I used to love the tongue and yukhoe at Yakiniku Seiryuuen and visited many times, but I was excited for my first visit in a year, only to feel a bit disappointed. Did the quality of the meat and its thickness noticeably decline? I can't ask, but it makes me want to. The outside skirt was cut into tiny pieces that lacked flavor, and for JPY 6000 per person, it felt like there were just a few small pieces of meat. The tongue, which used to be my favorite, also seemed less tasty, possibly due to its thinner cut, and I was very disappointed. It might be due to rising ingredient prices, but if that’s the case, I would appreciate it if they could raise their prices and return to the previous quality of Yakiniku Seiryuuen.
