I had been looking forward to visiting Sazenka for a long time. Every bite was a wonderful experience, introducing me to a "new experience" that I had never encountered before. What stands out is the remarkable fusion of Japanese and Chinese cuisines. While it retains the boldness characteristic of Chinese food, the greasiness is minimized to an astonishing degree, resulting in an incredibly light and refined presentation. Thanks to this exquisite balance of flavors, I was able to enjoy a multi-course meal without feeling burdened, savoring every dish until the very end. One dish that particularly left an impression was the exquisite botan shrimp. Its rich sweetness, complemented by a delicate seasoning, was outstanding, leaving me in a delightful aftertaste. Additionally, the drink selection was fantastic; I never expected to enjoy Domaine de Takahiko here! The unique umami and aroma of that sake paired perfectly with Sazenka's delicate dishes, creating a truly fulfilling evening. In terms of taste, composition, pairing, and ambiance, I was reminded once again that this is one of Japan's finest establishments. I will definitely return for a special occasion.
