I finally visited after hearing it was closing down.The course with wine pairing cost nearly JPY 60,000 per person, which is not cheap for a salaryman.With that in mind, I hoped for dishes that suited my taste, but unfortunately, that wish was not fulfilled.The course had a somewhat strong ethnic flavor, with spices used in many of the dishes.As someone who prefers ingredient-focused French cuisine, I found the flavors to be quite rich and overwhelming.The appetizers and sobakaki at the beginning were truly delicious, and I wished they had continued with that same flavor profile.The paired wines were also disappointing. They didn’t complement the dishes well, and I didn’t enjoy them on their own either.
